Ariel is an Alerion Express 28, hull number 135. She enjoys sailing on San Francisco Bay out of the Richmond Yacht Club. Her proud owners, Deb Castellana and Chuck Goettsche love nothing more than to spend time simply 'Messing about in Ariel'.
We are currently trying to downsize: current (38 ft) boat's for sale. We are trying to negotiate a price which will make an Alerion-28 affordable. If we are able to capture one, I will name it in Steve Jobs' fashion, NEXT! I like the way that sounds: much better than "Last".
In upcoming months, Chuck will posting tidbits of a technical nature here... Alerion Express boats are quite different from your standard sloop, and we will publish here free advice on how best to tune and care for these fine girls.
After all, she is the "Prettiest Girl at the Dance", isn't she?
